Should I text this guy (again) and how should I do that?

Always see him with friends group. I like him. I once suggested we should see each other on our own. He’s like yes, but never wrote to me. We saw each other again with the group, I joked to him about never having written to me and he laughed and told me he was in town for the next few months and that we could hang out. That evening he wrote to me saying he was happy we had seen each other and he hoped to see me again soon. I replied that if he wanted to hang out, I was free the following week except for a few dates in which I already had something. He never replied to that message. I saw him again With the group one week later. I was a bit unhappy with him for not having replied and avoided him a bit. As a consequence, he was the one who approached me and we chatted a lot. There was a good feeling. At a certain point he told me he hadn’t replied because he prefers making plans last minute than one week in advance, and he told me to let him know one day I was free this week so we could go for a coffee. In that moment, I replied I had to check my calendar because I’m really busy. I wrote him the same evening saying ok for the coffee but that he had to let me know when. He never replied. Should I even bother texting him again and telling him I’m free tonight for a coffee?

On the one hand if he was really interested he would've set something up by now. On the other hand he prefers to do things last minute. I'd say message him last minute one day and see if he responds. If he's up for it then do your thing. If he doesn't respond then I say it's time to move on.

Don’t, you have done your part, it’s him to come for it now that he know you are interested. If he ain’t coming through, don’t wait forever, friend zone him, get intentionally busy and move on, it ain’t that important to him.

No. He is dragging you along because he knows he can. He would have made it a priority to see you already.

I know. A lot has been done wrong on my side also regarding things I haven’t written here. I guess I just wanted to let him know he had to write first and not me again

But he asked u a question u ignored him and asked the same thing back do u not see how that comes off as playing games even if he is doing the same

I am not playing games so I guess I don’t realize that what I do may come off as that. Thanks for pointing it out. Maybe that’s what he thinks. But since the only chance to fix things would be seeing him, how do I fix this/what do I do in order to make sure we see each other?

But he’s really not responsive… I don’t want to be insistent, I hate it wen guys I am not interested to insist with me and don’t want to do the same. And what am I supposed to write in order not to look like a fool after he didn’t reply to my last message?
