2.6K opinions shared on Dating topic. I'm not afraid of snakes. In fact, I love them. But I'm not a fan of keeping them in captivity. I had snakes and lizards for pets when I was a kid, and they are a big responsibility. You have to take care of them and feed them. And do you know what "big" snakes eat?
Snakes belong in their natural habitat. I hate the exotic pet trade.
As I said, I had some snakes as pets when I was a kid. They all eventually died. In my teens, I had a 75 gallon aquarium with exotic fish. All that stuff was cool, but I think of my reasons. It had to do with a fascination with nature. But it barely occurred to me that it was bad for the animals. And removing wild animals from their natural habitats contributes to the decimating of ecosystems. So having such pets for personal enjoyment is actually immature, short sighted, and rather selfish and callous.
Once I had a good job, had the ability to see more of the world and spend less time at home, I eventually grew out of the desire to own living decorations.
A thing about responsible pet ownership is, you can't just take off and travel or do things whenever you want. That's one reason why I never really liked it when girlfriends had pets. A couple of mine had dogs, and dogs are a pain in the ass.
So I have no problem with snakes, per se, but I wouldn't want the responsibility. It would be a minor negative check mark against a potential girlfriend. I want to spend my time with her, as opposed to admiring or playing with her pets.00 Reply

I wouldn't really want that additional hassle for myself, but I wouldn't care if she had them. I enjoy holding them on occasion, if I know someone who has them.

The largest constrictor I have handled with others was 15 ft. It bit my hand and left permanent scars. It was a Reticulated Python. I didn't like them. I just wasn't afraid of them.13 Reply- +1 y
Which one was stronger, the python or boa?

I really want to know
+1 yAbsolutely. I used to have pet pythons, and I'm qualified as a venomous snake handler. Snakes don't bother me. And this country is home to the deadliest.

1.6K opinions shared on Dating topic. I mean one of my closest high school friends owns a giant anaconda that they tamed to be really kind OwO. Admittedly she feeds it like 2 to 3 chickens so by the time you handle it. It is in a literal food coma. And its probably thinking oh great another human here to that is going to bother me as I'm trying to just digest my mother bleeping food XD.

You have to be responsible
2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Constrictors are cool but you have to be careful around young children and when you sleep. I few yours ago, I saw where a constrictor got out and strangled their owner while the person slept. Maybe they wanted fresh and not frozen.

You can have the four-metre carpet python tha lives outside my house and its 1.7 metre friend who lives in my barn. š
You can also have all the eastern browns (venom 18 times more toxic than a cobra), king browns and death adders (the name says it all) that live on my property.
I have a.410 shotgun specially for everything that is venomous.
