Why would a friends with benefits (female) keep texting me everyday even when I try to end the convo?

She said she's not looking for a relationship but then proceeds to text me EVERY SINGLE day asking "how my day was", "if I got home safely", "what I am doing", "wishing me a good day", and even to the point where send sent me a heart emoji (which is the first time she sent an emoji) and called me "babe" at one point. Every time I try to end the chat purposely, she would reach back out the following day. It's so confusing to me.

Its really up to you guys what you are okey with and what is too much, set boundaries if u dont want anything more than sex.
I wouldn't waste my time responding to questions like hows my day and so on.
Clearly she have no idea how to be friends with benefits so you have to take the lead and teach her. Tell her you will see her on Saturday then u can talk rest of the week no talking, each mind own business.
Makes me bit pissed off how u dont set boundaries and now u are all confused.

I asked her multiple times how she feels because the whole situation seems weird to me as we not only just have sex. She’s sound unsure of what she wants maybe give her space to see how she acts, if she tries harder to communicate with you then that’s your sign she may like a relationship with you. I expressed to her that I like her more than what we are currently doing but she’s not completely ready to trust me 100% yet and thus every time we get close, she pulls back.

I felt similarly to you when I tried getting to meet someone. Finally brave enough to put myself out there but most guys were just looking for fun. It seemed like like most guys were healing from broken hearts. Seriously considered getting a shirt made that read, “I’m not her” or “Give me a chance”, lol. The only advice I can suggest is that you be completely honest with this chick. It sounds like you already have been, so kudos to you. Vulnerability is scary as f*ck but it’s the quickest route to the truth. You don’t want to be waiting in vain forever though, so you’ll need to decide how long you’re willing to wait on the sidelines. If you’re an eligible catch, talk yourself up.
