As for Mixed Asian fetishes I cannot say if it is or is not a thing because people have their own types of sexual attractions and people are drawn to people that are different from them selves and others aren’t. For me I’ve always been drawn to women with brown hair, brown eyes, small in height, and symmetrical faces. Take the girl in the middle image she’s very attractive she has Lara Croft eyes full lips and alluring smile. Now the girl in the top image same attractive features Big eyes, alluring smile and long flowing brown hair. Now would people say that’s my fetish? Maybe. Nope, that’s kind of a rude/racist thing for a friend to say. She sounds kinda jealous of your appearance maybe or the attention you get from guys. I have never heard of guys having a “half Asian fetish” although it could exist, but it’s definitely rare. These women are pretty and guys like pretty girls.

Depends on the guy. There's no set rule. The guy who wants a 100% caucasian with blonde hair could be fetishizing her.
Your friend is jealous and trying to minimize your value by telling you if a guy wants you it's for a lesser reason than they might want your friend.
Certain 'types' of people are often idealized and stereotyped.
I'd not call this fetishizing, but rather just not having enough mental horizon to see persons as individuals.
Where ''half'' Asians -hereabouts- also are hyped into something... ''special''; it's the attraction of the (locally) uncommon, perhaps. Myself, I predominantly perceive them as spoiled brats; which is not their fault, but their parents'.
Anyhow- if 'you' get approached by someone, 'you' will very soon get an insight about his or her motivation behind. After all, raising some interest always makes us feel better than being ignored all the time :)
I'm half-Asian, but as a guy, I've never felt fetishised over for that side of my heritage- quite the opposite, as a matter of fact. I'm also half-Black though (though you can hardly tell even if you know, and most people never realize I'm mixed-race at all- unlike both my siblings, for whom their Black heritage is fairly visible). And in the past, girls who've found out I was mixed race (who also happened to be relatively fat, ugly, SJW-type white girls- coincidence?) actually have explicitly told me that they wanted to date and/or fuck me because I was "exotic".
So I'd say it sounds like classic projectionism to me. Fetishizing, sexualizing and over-romanticizing perceived 'minorities', is something which females do, whenever they get the chance. Men? Not so much.

We live in a world where the social demand for racism vastly outstrips the available supply. Claiming that someone has a fetish for your ethnicity is literally just saying "they're only attracted to you because they're attracted to you". If someone is particularly attracted to the phenotypic features you exhibit, that's just normal sexual attraction. Why look a gift horse in the mouth?
