just curious it’s a question of a day that I wonder. Because I have had a lot of friends and family members that go for a girl like that and fuck over a great girlfriend that is basically wifey material yet they drop them and go for someone who gaslights them and so many other toxic things. So do guys like that?

It seems a lot of people, both men and women, like to be mistreated in their relationships. I know guys that can't stay away from Jezebel ex-wives or ex- girlfriends. They keep revisiting these hopeless scenarios with these whackjob women. And women of course do the same thing. They can't seem to stay away from freeloaders, abusers, and cheaters. Scores of decent men in their area to choose from, yet they return to the men that make them the most miserable everytime.
People don't do this in other areas of life. Nobody, if they can afford to, chooses to drive a used, broken down piece of shit over a brand new car. Nobody would ever prefer to live in an alleyway eating out of trashcans over living in a nice house or apartment. Nobody's gonna want shitty, store-bought frozen pizza over homemade pizza or what they can get at a pizzeria.
But when it comes to their relationships, they want the broken down piece of shit. They want the tent. They want the pizza that tastes awful. They want the worst relationships they can find and they want the same ones again and again.
Who knows why this is.

Yeah no, I can tell you right now any real man with an actual functioning brain won't do this. I can tell you right now it would not matter how hot the other girl is I'm not going to be with her if she treats me as disposable.
