Why isn't he deleting me?

A guy at my uni ghosted me after 2 dates (2nd date was just a meeting) but he still has my number saved as I can see his last seen on WhatsApp (his last seen is open to his contacts only). Why isn't he deleting it when he doesn't want to talk?

Maybe he has forgotten to delete it. Or he's playing games or doesn't want to burn bridges with you and wants to have lots of options

I want to block him tbh. I don't know what game je plays. Ever since I sent him a message the first time, he plays the last seen game on whatsapp. He didn't add me in his contacts first so he made his last seen public for everyone. And on some days he would last appear at 19.20 pm and be gone the whole evening+night.
Then he added me in his contacts and closed his last seen for everybody except his contacts.
He stopped disappearing for long hours for 1 week but now has again started doing it.

I dont know what he does but I think he goes to get laid with that "female friend with a boyfriend" he was talking about.

Not good at all. I would say to directly confront him about that. Give him a time limit and if he doesn't answer back either block him or 👻 him
