When dating, have you ever felt cheated on when the dating relationship wasn't a committed one?

Like if he or she was also dating other girls or guys but you wish it was only you?

I guess it's not fair to feel cheated on in those situations but if you are really infatuated with the guy or girl, it's not hard for jealousy and envy to enter the picture in a very strong way, at least for me.

Am I the only one this has ever happened to or has ever felt this way?

No, but none of the ones I dated casually were seeing others, at least never told me if they were and I did not suspect them too either. For some I even wished they had someone else, because they had a very high sex drive which I did not want to follow when I did not have feelings for them :D..
I am not very jealous unless I would have to actually watch them go around and flirt and kiss with others. One reason why I never did the uncommitted thing with someone I also were hanging out with as friends in a group.
As long as I don't have feelings, which I also don't want when it is casual, I don't care what he does when we do not see each other. As long as he is reliable so I can make plans with him and count on him not to cancel. I would not care if he cancelled to be with friends or another girl. Both is equally shit to me and not someone I will date.

When I have, I need to step it up to get into a official relationship... as dating is just that.

I've dated over 10 guys at once, even had weeks were at least one date a day or night with multiple guys, like 7 guys one each night and 3 day time dates or more.

Dating multiple isn't commitment, but once things get official, then only one person... nothing more.

Usually its others that have felt that way with me, but I can think of a couple of times I felt that way, trying to win him to commit to just me. Either I did win or I moved on, cause he just wasn't interested... OR he wanted me to have sex with him to show I was serious.

After reading some of the comments, I think they think you're talking about somesort of poly arrangement.

You're talking about how people fill their dance card with as many daters as possible. You start to feel like it's getting interesting, and you find out your not quite a weekend level qualifier just yet, because there are others ahead of you.

This is pretty much dating for some. It's definitely the extroverted version, for those who are looking to get the partner in a short time, to kiss virtually every toad on the journey.

I have not dated like that. I will resist that scene because you begin to feel like product. Being tinkered with and played. I will figure out and point blank ask if they are dating many? If so, I politely pull out. It's just not my bag.

If I’m reading you correctly then I would like to call this polyamorous. It seems like a label for relationships to develop but they are not committed it has a lot of gray areas and I feel that if this type of thing makes you uncomfortable that you should never be in one of these types of things (polyamorous relationship).
I find the individuals that support polyamorous relationships to be in a very bizarre mindframe. Sort of how the Hutterites find their way of life to be OK and practical and safe and normal.
I’m not saying polyamorous has anything to do with Hutterites but I’m just saying that the resemblance is in the sense of where the individuals are not phased by the disfunction

Honestly all my relationships have been none committed so far except for one but throughout all of them I've never had a girl actually seeing someone else. Granted they were all very short term but still I make sure my girl is satisfied and does not need anyone else

No, I never felt that way if we both agreed to dating whoever we wanted. If I really wanted to date just one particular girl and she was into open dating, I didn't do it. I only "took what I could get" a couple of times because the girl was so hot I didn't want to pass it up ! LOL

I have never been in this situation. I was forced into a relationship where the girl expected XXX treatment and i just denied her sex. Barley after 4 week in the ''relationship'' she broke up with me 🤷‍♂️.
