this is basically a part 2 to my last most recent question. in that question I was talking about women in general and in this one I am talking about women who engage in the hookup culture.
so it seems like women who engage in the hookup culture are either just as picky as those looking for a relationship, either that or very few women know what a hookup actually is.
I still remember 7+ years ago when I used Tinder like a sucker I would match with women who would ask me things like...
what do I do for a living?
do I have any kids?
and a bunch of other serious questions that sounded like you only ask those to folks you're trying to get serious with someone. so to make the long story short I remember all these women I match with all used to get a chip on their shoulders whenever I told them that I was not looking for anything serious and just wanted to hookup; I would of thought they would at least appreciate my honesty.
hell I would try to reason with them and ask them what the hell are they doing on Tinder if they're not looking for hookups? and they would get matter and even go as far as denying that Tinder is not a hookup as "it is an app to meet people." which we all know this is complete 🐴 💩
Why do women who engage in the hookup culture complain about men only wanting sex?
This question made me reflect more on my own behavior. I will now attempt to answer it from my own perspective: I think it's that women don't typically want to sleep with men that have ZERO relationship potential. Men are more inclined to seek short-term sexual partners than women (See: sexual strategies theory by David Buss). When I have a hookup of sorts it's usually a more casual, but a repeated thing. We'll sleep together for a few weeks or months, but also chat and hang out. Then seek partners elsewhere, if not during the course of the causal relationship. If nobody expresses they want something more, then no feelings hurt. Men seem more inclined to do the "well, I hate her personality, but fuck it, it's just a hookup and she's fine!" versus women, who won't sleep with a guy, even just a hookup, if he expresses offensively to her. I don't care how attractive I find you, if you come across as a douchebag, I will not hook up, not even once. It is odd when you think about it.
its also a major red flag when you think about it as well because obviously it seems like you want to keep fucking that same person at some point in your life and if you haven't noticed fucking that person more than once its what leads to attachment later on.
so with that said you are hurting nobody but yourself
