When I was in my 20's and 30's I never wanted a gold digger, but my first ex was definitely one, my 2nd was less of one and more independent.
These days, as I have no plans to ever get married again, I have no issues with having a nice girlfriend who I know only wants me for my money but she knows I only want her for her body. It works out I guess, we both have something the other wants.
What is interesting is how things can change though, our last time together she told me she wanted more. Still not sure what she means by that, I think she might be actually falling for me... weird.
I'm not attractive. But after 40+ years. Of living and no women to siphon off my wealth I now have considerable assets. It's not that I like gold diggers but it's inevitable that I attract them. I don't hate them I just find them entertaining. Because they think their feminine wiles have an effect on me. So I play the game I entertain them, they give of themselves freely, and they think there's going to be a payday at the end. Eventually they figure out they're wasting their time and leave and I have a good laugh. You know it's true what they say. Life really does begin at 40.
To me, "Gold digger" implies being deceptive -- pretending romantic interest to obtain goods and services, but avoiding intimacy. If a woman says "If you take me to , I'll sleep with you", she's not a gold digger. She's just being honest. Not a problem, assuming she follows through.
