Was he being pushy?

So far I’ve just chatted with this guy on social media. I haven’t told hin thag I like him or anythibg. Neither has he. I bumped into him in public accidentally recently. Usually we don’t come across in public. I told him this.

Then he said: really?, why didn’t you say hi to me or pull me from my sleeve ?

When I told him that I didn’t say hi because I was wearing a mask and talking on the phone. He then said ” next time remember to pull me from my sleeve if you see me without a mask and you’re wearing one 🧐”

I don’t know what he meant by that suspicious emoji.
