me and my boyfriend have been dating in a ldr since mid December, recently he lost his phone we didn’t talk for like 5 days i felt relieved and stress free. when he got a new phone and we talked again i was upset. we do not have same goals and we do not want the same futures. the thought of staying together makes me upset but so does the thought of not being with him.

If you felt better emotionally when you weren’t talking then I don’t think you should continue on with the relationship. At the very least maybe you should consider taking some space apart or maybe an actual break for 1 month or something to really think about it
