I’ve always been set in my ways. I was hooked on same age and same grade for all of elementary and high school. There was only one dude i made an exception for and he was only 1 year older 😂 I made considerations for two others but i just didn't like their age and was like nahh at the end of the day. I remember turning down dudes for being 1-2 years younger. I’d be like, dang we have so much in common but i dont date younger guys. I had to go to college to even up my age limit to 0-3 year gap . Because in college almost everyone looks the same age so i’d be shocked to learn ppls ages. Only one dude became an exception to pass that limit. Other than that, my limit won't jump to 5-10 year gap until im 35+. I know age doesn't matter for a lot of y'all but shit it matters to me. And no its not even about having things in common or maintaining good looks as you age. I just know what ages I do and dont want to date. Matter of fact, i just prefer not to know the persons age cause i’ll overthink it lol.
