Why is sugar babying being promoted as a good way for young girls to make a lot of money?

It’s really annoying, sugar babying really isn’t safe. A lot of girls are sexually assaulted or r*ped on the job but no one ever talks about that. Instead they act like it’s some type of fun way to make easy money?

It’s disturbing. And I feel like tiktok is promoting this for young girls because I never searched up anything in relation to sugar babying ever. I literally knew nothing about what a sugar baby even was until tiktok put it on my fyp?

A lot of these sugar dating sites also are promoted to college girls. I believe these sites are literally preying on the fact that these girls probably need money since they’re in debt from college or need to pay bills for the house, etc.

And they make big money by convincing girls that being a sugar baby is somehow an empowering girl boss move when in reality there’s nothing empowering about having to be in a relationship with an older man for money.

“ While companies promoting “sugaring” try to project themselves as simply being another kind of dating site that features fun, safe, no strings attached relationships, the reality that is coming to light as a result of the increase in “sugar dating” is an ugly one filled with harassment, sexual assault, and the manipulation of financial arrangements in order to coerce unwanted sexual action—also known as rape.”
