I've lived with dogs my entire life and I also lived on a farm with a lot of cows, horses, goats, et cetera. So, I consider myself a dog enthusiast. Yet, there is a limit to how much you should spoil an animal before it becomes overkill and enabling poor behavior.
A lot of dog owners can be severely annoying when it comes to that. Sure, you should be affectionate with your dogs but you should also know how to properly train them to ensure a balance in the household. Just because someone doesn't condone your behavior doesn't make them "hate" dogs. Letting a dog run the household just because you love them is idiotic in my opinion. I've been to households, usually female dog owners, where the dog absolutely ran the household and got away with all sorts of awful behavior. Calling them out on it makes someone a "dog hater" apparently.
I have a close friend whose dog is practically her "daughter" or princess. In her opinion, all her ex (plural) who kept a good relationship with her got obsessed of her weighted love for the dog and not to them (the guys even when some of them have dogs/pets or called themselves dog lovers) therefore led to the broke up.
Communication and acceptance or acknowledgement are important. For instance, if you really like this person you should really discuss rationally about how this relationship is going to work (with the dog/pet as part of the family). Minor Jealousy is fine but don't make this a drama to fight over lol.
You give the dog food from your plate and forcing your wishes on him to do the SAME is annoying to him. Let him eat his food in peace. Love your dog as much as you want but don't get others involved unnecessarily. Imagine your dog just had his meal but your partner came back home from a long hard day, he's hungry and he earned his food then suddenly you telling him to share 1/4th of his food to a dog who will never stop demanding is very unfair. People too deserve to eat their meal peacefully.

I’ve heard on americas most wanted about boyfriends who are jealous of their girlfriends pets, but it could also be a money issue and not a jealousy issue, maybe he doesn’t like you spending your money on something that is not human, because it could be spent on you instead.
A little bit of jealousy which is find as long as he deals with it in a healthy way. Dog are an emotional creation needed by a lot people to deal with the ups and downs in life. Spoiling your dog is a healthy way to award him/her for all the support she/he give you though out the day. Tell your boyfriend to get over it because the dog is here to stay and besides she/he knows ALL my inner secrets do you? Very cute dog.
Your little doggy is cute. I have a black and white one. 😍 I wouldn't worry about your boyfriend not sharing his food. In fact, I'd advise against sharing too much have your food, it's really not good for them. I just give my Zoey a tiny little piece of burger or something when I've finished. As long as your dog is well behaved, then I think what you're doing he's probably fine.
It’s really annoying when someone’s attention and affection is on an animal that they live with and not on the person that came to spend time with them. Just give him more affection

Maybe it’s the way you act all goofy putting the dog on your lap kissing the dog over and over making silly sounds or maybe he’s just jealous or maybe he doesn’t like dogs that much
I love dogs, but I don't spoil them. The high-pitched lovey-dovey talk which they can't understand is pretty annoying 😂 They know commands, not speech.
I stand by what I said. It's not a question of "if" you dump him, but "when". Don't waste your time. Dump him and find a REAL animal lover; one who is like you. (Pssst: He is NOT a REAL animal lover.)
A lot of people that love dogs are strict when it comes to their diet and only feed them what the vet tells them. Others don't like dogs near the table or their begging.
