Should I be mad that my boyfriend is watching his ex-wife’s dog?

I clearly told him that it was weird and I wasn’t happy about it. Got to his house and here’s his ex-wife’s dog. Said he picked it up Thursday. Didn’t tell me he picked up the dog because he didn’t want to upset me anymore. He said they are just friends and the divorce was mutual. Am I overreacting?

It wouldn't surprise me if he and the dog were very close. All of our pets (dogs) have always bonded with my husband more than me or our children. It does seem a little weird, but often times pets can seem like "surrogate children". Try not to blow up at him and have a mature conversation about it.

He doesn’t think there is anything wrong with it. I told him that he should of told me when he was picking up the dog and that it’s disrespectful to me.

I mean can’t someone else look after the dog, why did he agree to it etc. I would be questioning it all day but then again I’m an over thinker
