How to I talk to women and get a date? Was hoping someone could explain this to me, preferably women?

Explain this like I’m 5. This whole process is very confusing to me. Let’s say I see a girl at school or the mall or a bar or a club and I find them attractive, how do I proceed from there? And after I get their contact info what do I do from there? Like do I try to start a conversation through text? To I just ask them to hang out again? People say just treat them like my male friends but that doesn’t exactly seem to be how this is done. Any advice is helpful.

Personal opinion: don't ask the fish, ask the fisher

Basically, when you ask the opposite gender this question, they tell you "what will work with them", which may or may not be true

However when you ask someone of your gender who is good at it, he can give you the generic advice which works irrespective of the girl you are with (for example how to dress yourself and other stuff)

Unfortunately, i am not that guy (yet 😂)
