He tried talking to me after he ghosted me, am I wrong for what I did next?

LOOOONG, story short. I am kinda shy around this guy I like, I haven’t really gotten to know him yet we’ve been on two trips together with him and his friends, the second was kinda coincidental but we made plans. I’m a shy person so it takes some time for me to open up and I thought he understood because he’s the same way. When we met in the second trip I was shy and he instantly started talking to my friend who I was with the whole time. I ignored it even though it upset me. He seemed to be more interested in her than me. The next day we were supposed to hang out but he didn’t respond until the night. Ignored him. He messaged me on Instagram asking if I left and I told him I did, as he already knew I was leaving that day. He said that he lost his phone (which I found out was a fact) but still, he had the means to reach me. I told him that If he really wanted to hang with me he would have. Her never responded.
the next week he posted multiple photos of me on his Instagram pages from the trip, including his friends as well. Nothing romantic. I never spoke to him about it. He messaged me something about what I said on Instagram and I responded to that he he responded two days later so I left him alone completely. I have been hurt about everything for a long time and it made me realize maybe I’m not ready for a relationship because it hurts me too much. I just don’t understand what I did
