This makes as much sense as believing being raped by a gay man or a woman has less impact than being raped by a straight man. Is it not rape if he has a small penis? Battery isn't based on who does it or the amount of force used. Any unnecessary, unsolicited force, with the desire to cause discomfort to the other is battery. We need to stop using gender, religion, history or ethnicity to legitimize anything we wouldn't appreciate having done to us or our loved ones. Others will never be considerate and respectful of us if we don't show them the same consideration and respect.

you never NEED or SHOULD hit a woman, EVER. Open palm is out of style and why would you hit a woman close fist that is just insane. If you ever need to control a woman in a desperate situation that is violent on the street you can always grab her by the hair and you can easily control her body by breaking her posture and most people neck weaker than most people arm. Hitting a woman is never ok and will likely give you jail time even if the woman drop’s charges

Well, it is nice to know you don't think both sexes are exactly the same. Yes, men generally are physically stronger, and it would be nice if ALL men were gentlemen. But not every man is a gentleman, and not every woman is lady-like. Right?

While we're speaking generally, I'd advise that women DON'T test men and hit them... because you'll never know if the guy you're hitting will either be a gentleman... or have no issues dropping your head to the pavement in front of a dozen witnesses.

By the way, what do you think of certain women using blunt objects and projectiles to hit men?

Because of the intention: when you are hitting at someone, no matter your physical prowess, you are having an intention of aggressiveness towards the individual.

This intention means that if you had more strength, you wouldn't hesitate to use it against them.

There is a difference but it depends because I have heard of females who are truly abusive and that is not ok. Nor physically nor mentally.
Women have always been fighting foe their place in the society through generations while men have been blessed to be stronger and their word being listened to. So it is not the same. For a hit no, if she becomes abusive it is not ok.

I believe the common denominator here is hitting. Its the same in the sense that it is assault. Regardless of who hits whom its still considered assault. Strength plays a different role on how sever the punishment will be.

If a female does not want to be hit, then she needs to not hit.

Just because you aren’t as strong doesn’t mean you should be allowed to do it without repercussions.
A guy hitting a violent female back in retaliation is simply a lesson to her that she needs to be a better person.

The amount of force isn't what matters it's the action. The only time it is okay is in self defense and that goes for either gender. Don't hit someone if you don't want to be hit back.
