In a strange incident, a woman stabbed her date in a Vegas hotel room as an act of revenge for the 2020 death of an Iranian military leader who was killed in an American drone strike. Nika Nikoubin, who is 21-year-old, met the person on the dating website Plenty of fish. She has been charged with attempted murder, two counts of battery and burglary of a business.

President Trump said at the time that the assassination came in response to a wave of attacks on US interests in Iraq.
