Nothing wrong with meeting a guy who is a dad, you can have children of your own and/or learn to create a 'blended' family. It will also give you a good tip off on whether or not they are the one you want to be with by watching how they interact with their children. That's the same way they will treat you (in terms of patience levels, kindness, etc). I think that, so long as they are not interested in 'getting back with their ex' you're good, sadly, men often are still thinking like this. My uncle never spoke with his ex wife again (she was, let's say, not too nice) and him and his wife have been happily married and raised up those children. Of course, you're very young, there are men who've not had children their whole lives.

Either I get super young, or super old guys trying to give me attention. I never see anyone my own age trying to talk.

Sure. I'm almost 31 and I have never been married or have any kids. I know that the first thing you think is "Ugly hog beasted neck beard" but I don't know I don't think that I am. I am 6'2 195lbs short brown hair, green eyes and I consider myself to be somewhat interesting. So I am sure I can not be the only guy out there who is 29 or over with no kids/divorces under his belt.

Are you talking about guys who didn't have women hanging off of them and made them get into relationships they weren't ready for? Or are you talking about finding a guy who was able to say no because his standards were so high that he's been able to stay single into his 30s?

That would be like finding a woman who actually dated all the men who asked her out..

There is me, I'm not married and I'm no dad, unless my cat counts as a kid? Don't give up hope, I am sure you will find someone awesome soon, don't let your age bother you, if some women who are 40 can still look like they're 25, I am sure you can do the same with your current age. Just keep being the awesome person you are.

Of course. Just be really active. You can find your guy. Don't get emotional and don't give up. It is possible. You can also date younger guys. Don't let age fool you. Guys are a-holes not due to age. If he is a good guy he will be a good guy whenever. He may not be as polished or he may make more mistakes but at the core he will be good and have an open-mind.

I am certain there are plenty. My husband turned 29 when we got married. We know plenty of single people in their 30s. Don’t focus on the age but rather someone that makes you happy.

Yep. Some guys (me for example) didn't have kids with someone and then it didn't workout. I don't want kids anyways so there's that too. I never understood how someone "accidentally" has a kid. Carelessness to me.

Oh yes most definitely. But it depends if you want a kid or not. Then you might find lots of men who are not willing to get kids.

Of course. There are lots of men of every age who aren't dads. Most guys I know who are didn't have kids until 30's. Having kids early is kind of ghetto - most people wait until they are established in a career.

Sure. It’s tougher but same goes for men who are older seeking women who are not single parents. I’m 33 and many women my age who are single have kids. Usually a no go for me but I keep an eye out
