How to deal with a player?

I’m a sophomore in college and he is a senior. I meet him off tinder and we snap chatted a little but then I started dating someone so we stopped. After I broke up with my boyfriend of several months and I reached out to him. We meet at a bar and I stayed the night with him. We did not have sex though, just jerked him off. Over the past several months we have become friends and he now calls me everyday and talks for about an hour. However we still have yet to hangout. He has proposed it to me several times but then flaked. I’m taking him to my date party this week but last Wednesday I asked him to hangout and he moved it to Thursday. Then on Thursday he flaked on me. Friday he called and said he would pick me up in 10 minutes to hangout but then never did. Saturday he told me to stay at the bar I was at because he was coming but then never did. I’m so upset with how he treats me yet I really like him still. I’ve been ignoring him today and he keeps blowing my phone up acting like he did nothing wrong. Should I take him to my date party this week still? How to respond to him when he texts and calls me? How do I handle this situation and get him to treat me seriously?
