If by talking you mean texting with women you meet online, ghosting comes with the territory. The best way to avoid ghosting is to form in-person friendships and relationships. The more text-oriented a relationship is, the less apt it is to persist. Some women like the attention of getting texts but will ghost when it seems like the guy is trying to get more than being a penpal. Also, not everyone is equally entertaining with banter. This is why I would only exchange a maximum of four text messages with women on a dating site before asking for an in-person date.

Try sharing somethings interesting about yourself, or try some interesting topics that are easy and fun to talk about. Personally, I like to learn the guy’s personality and habits, so any topics that help me learn his personality and habits are great.
