Okay, so an ex of mine from 9 years ago added and followed me on everything. We've messaged back and forth and I've attempted to ask them out. Timing seems to be a consistent obstacle here. We were meeting at a local pub and that didn't work out due to them completely tanked and I don't know if they didn't recognize me or just too drunk to be aware. So I've suggested dinner this week and I was asked if they could get back to me. I said yes and I haven't heard anything as of now. Question is, are they even interested or nervous like I am or what?
Should I back off or pursue?
