What parts of you are submissive? What parts of you are dominant or a switch? How do you balance out these different parts of yourself?

I think a large part of my core personality is submissive. However that is a part that I keep locked away from a lot of people. I think a lot of people would see me far more assertive then I often feel on the inside.

As for which parts are “dominant” or “switch”, I think that is an effort to actually place the whole of ones life within these labels. I think that is by and large an exercise in futility. I am more then able to hold my own at work or with family.

Balancing out of these parts is pretty much something that comes automatically. We learn how to balance the different parts of our personality. I don’t think anyone would ask how we differentiate our behavioural and social norms between our work persona and when we are with our family.
