Obsessed doesn't have to mean stalker obsessed although I'm sure plenty of you have been there at least on social media. If you're thinking about one person all the time and only that person for almost every hour of the day for a week, that's basically obsession.

I had a long term girlfriend and one day I just saw something in her that really bothered me and after that I never saw her the same way and eventually broke up with her.,

@Jammaa We live 1500 miles apart and I went out to see her and she shows up at the airport wearing a hoodie covered in plaster dust and she had her hair in some kind of weird perm that was combed over to one side. She told me that she almost forgot I was coming and almost did not pick me up at the airport. Seeing her was all I thought about for the last two weeks and she almost forgot to pick me up. When people are dating they are supposed to be on their best behavior. I started to wonder what she would be like if we got married. All of a sudden whatever weird spell she cast on me was broken and a couple of months later I called her and we broke up over the phone.

Oh yeah you definitely dodged a bullet there. Although I believe people can truly be busy this sounds like she subconsciously thought she was a level above you and was taking you for granted. How did she respond to you breaking up with her?

@Jammaa At first she said that we should just get married then she said it was never going to work out anyway. It really was not very dramatic.
