Is this sketchy?

I’ve been seeing this guy for a few months. I haven’t seen him in a few weeks because (truthfully) he has a lot of really important exams to study for, which is understandable. However, even since we started talking he’d take hours (like 8+) sometimes to text back, and if I say goodnight he replies right away with either a conversation starter or says goodnight back. Lately it’s been more of the latter, as he’s apparently studying but he goes on social media in the hours that we don’t talk. I don’t mind not talking for a while, and i don’t need constant texting but sometimes it bothers me that he doesn’t answer unless i text him sometimes. I don't know if it’s wrong to feel like that. In person though he’s always been fine, so i’m really not sure.

He’s probably on social media to take a break and not to chat with anyone. Maybe you should bring it up to him, just ask if he needs some space for a bit while he focuses on studying for his exams but if not then tell him that you’d like to be able to chat with him more often bc you enjoy talking to him
