Um how do you know what he thinks? I only ask because you are asking us to know why some guy (that we don't know) thinks and to be honest I don't have my crystal ball and list my license for mind reading last year for being wrong too many times. If somehow you knew that he was thinking of you all the time at work I would consider it both sketchy and weird unless you two were dating. Even then if that was the only thing he thinks about (you can't know that) then it would be more obsessive than the words you use to describe it and an instant turnoff for me personally. I have a partner and while I do think of her often while we are apart I don't obsessively do it because I have things going on in life.
