My ex and I broke up.

We knew we’d never date again, but we tried to patch things up as friends.
I took her clothes shopping, then I took her out to eat lunch l.

When we got to her house she made dinner, we ate, & cuddled before I headed out for work.
I asked for sex before I went in,

She said no & said I was wrong to think she owed me sex after taking her out.

Was I wrong

You aren't dating anymore, so it was quite brave to even ask lol. But it is interesting also that she had no problem cuddling with you either, so? It's fine as long as she wants it I guess lol. Under those circumstances, with the cuddling, most guys probably would've went there, or at least thought about it, so I say you did what most guys would have and simply asked. But you can turn that back on her, no cuddling then either!

You were wrong. She had no obligation to give you sex and as your ex it’s assumed that the sexual part of your relationship is over (though she could still do it if she wanted to).
