Why does she keep turning on and off her snap location?

So my girlfriend of 9 months used to always keep her Snapchat location on but lately she turns it off and it stays off for a long time. She only appears on it a few times a day! We are in different cities and it used to give me comfort knowing where she was and I haven't said anything about it as that will only end in a row obviously but is this behaviour normal? We get on really well but lately this has been giving me a lot of anxiety!

Definitely not like. I wouldn't want to be with someone who was checking my location all the time

Why? I share it with my partner for 2 reasons. First for safety just if something ever happened to them I would know where they were. Also it really lowers the amount of phone calls I get of hey how long till you'll be home.

I get that giving them access to your location is good for safety or if you lose your phone, but constantly checking your SOs location throughout the day is weird.
