He needs to manage his own mental health to be a functioning adult. Part of that is going to therapy.
Perhaps you two can start with couples therapy, and then push him into more intensive private therapy from there.
But if he refuses to help himself, leave him.
Source: my past two male partners refused to manage their mental health and I left them. It's not worth damaging your own life for a grown man who refuses to ask for help from a professional.
You are a partner. Not a therapist, nor his mother.
Give him a time limit to get help and then move on if he does not…Simple‼️
I love him... moving on is not a option
