If she has a great personality, is very attractive, and shows interest, then I could see the guy catching some feelings, but it's a whole other thing to cheat on the girlfriend. Throughout life, you're bound to find people that you are attracted to, whether you're a guy or girl. But when you already have a lot of history and time you have spent with your partner, that all becomes irrelevant. If we went for every person we were attracted to, we'd never stay in a relationship for more than a few months.

I’d say not likely, but it does happen. Although, there are traits of cheating, like trouble communicating with spouses, constant fighting, or maybe the cheating SO is a narcissist.
