I don't really think of it that way, I think of it as do I want to have kids with this particular woman. When I'm not seeing anyone, as has been the case for a long time now, I don't really think about it.

I'm borderline yes/no - I would like to have kids I guess but I also wouldn't mind not having kids, especially if I'm an aunt

Yeah, the nice thing about nieces and nephews is you can leave when you've had enough. Also, you can choose which ones to spend your time with, something a lot more complicated as a parent.

I've enjoyed (some of) my nephews and nieces, in measured doses. Kids can give you a different perspective on things.
