I think not because makeup cannot change a bone structure or face shape of a woman.

It would be very easy to pull up some more extreme makeup results of women going from the figurative 3s to 8s or so, or from not so attractive to attractive.

Well applied makeup generally lifts appearance about 2 points of 10. Sometimes less, rarely more. 4 to 6, 5 to 7, 6 to 8 and such are all potential not attractive to attractive.

It would be very naive to think it can not be what makes the difference. Makeup enhances the good and covers up or diminishes the bad while also shifting attention. It is quite literally told to have been taught by angels and to have been so effective that after the angels taught women cosmetics, the angels themselves began to fall in love with them.
