First two dates went well, he asked me out on the first and I the second. He’d text me right after dropping me off both times to tell me how nice of a day we had, and that we should meet again soon. He texts me almost everyday to ask how I’m doing, replies to my stories, etc. Usually, he’s the one that keeps the conversations going, especially irl, but I do my part as well.
Although, here comes the problem. He hasn’t asked me out for a third time. Yesterday, he told me that he caught a cold and I told that it’s a bummer because I wanted to ask him what his weekend plans are, which he didn’t reply to and proceeded to rant about work and studying. When the conversation went stale, he restarted it by asking me how I’m doing. Then, I told him that I’ll send him a song but then got preoccupied so he texted me after an hour telling me to send, but didn’t reply back or say anything after I did.
I don’t think he’s dating other women because he deleted his Bumble account recently.
I think I’m putting in equal effort, but I’m not sure. I was certainly pulled aback by his response to me wanting to ask him about his weekend plans. Is he interested, should I ask him out again, or is he just not that interested?
