-They need to be young and impressionable.
-And be open to being your friend.
In a "go to college and work hard" climate, you can't live like our grandparents did. They followed that checklist.
Am I right?
The point of going to college is to study, gather different perspectives about life and figure out who you are and who you want to be
College has become a rat race these days because all good quality jobs have become more competitive than ever. You need to be the most hard working person you can be.. there is always going to be someone who is better than you in every aspect, but the important thing is the effort you put in and the dedication you have for your job
Humans are not dogs. It's like comparing apples and oranges. Both (humans and animals) are two different species. You can fall in love at any age. You don't need to be young and impressionable to find someone you want to spend the rest of your life with. Sounds too idealistic, but nobody ever gets into a relationship thinking it's going to end soon, right?
Sure.. your partner has to be your friend. You'd spend a huge chunk of your time with them, so it is important that both of you are compatible.
You are only 17, give it time. Don't give up on love. Most teenagers are high on hormones and are simply just stupid. They don't and cannot fully comprehend the concept of love (there are exceptions, of course).
I got all the perspectives I need online.. lol.
And they literally will grow up knowing the person. It is more natural. Thata why you adopt a puppy.
I know plenty of people who have found love in college. My brother, is 22, and has been with his girlfriend for just over 2 years. He is in med school and is managing both his studies and relationship quite wonderfully. Unless you’re choosing a difficult career path like a doctor or a lawyer, you can have fun in college (in the weekends, probably?) and study.
Well, that is true, but you cannot compare a doggo with a person. Human beings can find love at any age.
My grandparents didn’t know each other while growing up, they both met when they were 25, fell in love, got married and had 2 daughters.
No they really can't...
I respectfully disagree (:
That sounds like my grandpa smoked 10 cigarettes a day and didn't die young
There are people like that. I don’t recommend it though.
Whats your bros girlfriend doing
@highlyvolatile sorry for the tag, but I’d like to hear your take on this
What are the chances i would break up or cheat on a girlfriend if we met at 14. Vs we met last night. I will tell you the chance is 100000x higher. I am a cheater
She’s studying psychology
Beauty is something you make as I see it, not discover, when you're ready whether it's through passionate love or fighting in a war.
Your bro sounds beta. Alpha guys would cheat or break up
Your argument is flawed because a day is not enough to form an emotional connection. Why would you care about a stranger?
On the other hand, you could have met your girlfriend even about 6 months ago and still care about her.
Well, what can I do if you’re a cheater? Not all men cheat. At least, the good ones don’t.
Ah, at least he’s not a guy who believes in the alpha beta shit. I’d be too embarrassed if he identified himself as a wolf like yourself
she's studying psychology she's not even on his level.
You sound like an incel, fuck-face! :-D Apologies, Wonderbell, I am having too much fun now!
Pardon? She’s studying to become a psychologist which is in high demand. Do you understand how important mental health professionals are?
@HighlyVolatile I don’t mind! I was about to say that 😂
No men are good. Alpha men cheat beta men can't cheat
@HighlyVolatile who are you
*sighs* @highlyvolatile are you having a good laugh as I am now? The OP’s comments have had me chuckling like a madwoman. I haven’t had a good laugh like this in ages!
I fucked things up. I thought I was the bro here being referred as beta :-D My bad. I need to read this all back carefully.
@randomguy1030 He is a GaG user
Well, on the alpha men cheat and beta men can't part, to me that's like saying rich people are fat and poor people can't afford to get fat. There's the temptation vs. the morality, you know? Some people are tested harder this way.
@HighlyVolatile True
@HighlyVolatile yeah its just a joke why else is she laughing. Its satire. But kinda true
I'm also not entirely here right now in the head. My bad. It's 5:13 AM here. Sorry to both parties. I think I pitched in too fast!
@HighlyVolatile Yikes 5:13? You need to go to bed!
Thanks for your input by the way. Appreciate it very much.
From what I can understand of this Q, you want unconditional love like a loyal dog. But unconditional love is a "needy" love. It works from child to adult, from pet to adult, but it's not good from adult to adult because they have no real choice. To make an adult "want" you is a greater accomplishment than to make them "need" you. Because that means they have a real choice, and they chose you in the end.
@randomguy1030 this whole question was supposed to be satirical? Yikes! I’m terrible at deciphering sarcasm. Sorry for my impertinence.
Do you guys like horror films? I need to find more horror films to watch. I got a boatload of suggestions on drama but I need to be in the mood to watch those. :-D
I might have inadvertently sabotaged the entire convo. My bad. Life is what you make it. I like to make it fun with good people. But a dog's loyalty is not the type we should seek from a woman as I see it if you really want to earn it, keep it, and not find the moment you leave her for a while that she has warmed up to the next person so friendly and willing to feed her. A very conscious choice is key if you want more than an impressionable dog. That goes for women too with guys.
@HighlyVolatile Yes! I love horror films. I used to be shit scared of them when I was a little girl, but now, they’re my go to genre whenever im feeling bored.
I highly recommend ‘The Exorcist’, it came out in 1973. One of my mum’s favorite films. Haunting Of The Hill House was another good one. It’s on Netflix, I think. Other than that, there’s a movie called ‘The Boy’, it isn’t as scary, but the end will probably give you jump scares. “Hush” was a pretty good movie and I did not fall asleep when it was on, so that’s a good thing in my book. 😄
I love Se7en a lot with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman. It's a very disturbing one to me. What about you, @randomguy1030? Do you have any horror film favorites in between grooming young and impressionable girls?
Good basic thinking, however, it is much more complex than this.
