At night, my boyfriend won't text me for about 6 hours and then send me a "passed out just woke" text. He does this a couple times a month. Why?

Why won't he just text me beforehand and tell me he's gonna be MIA? One time I calles him on the phone because he didn't text the whole night after work and I found out his roommate threw a house party which he involuntarily attended. Is he being inconsiderate?

Yes i think so. He should inform you about certain things that he's about to do without keeping you hanging high and dry, waiting for his texts. You should just say this to him about his inappropriate behaviour.

it sounds like you expect your boyfriend to always be contactable and that is not the basis of a healthy relationship. leave him some time to himself, without having to check in with you at all times or justify why he's afk.

I do this too. Especially when I bust my ass at work and literally just drop on the bed. Not in the bed and under the blankets. Literally pass out from exhaustion on the bed. He’s probably working hard too?
