How do you want a guy to approach you in college?

Say you're at university and this younger looking slim guy who's average on looks and dresses well wants to be social with you, how would you want to be approached that isn't creepy at all to you? Same also if you're at a bar.

Come up to me say “Hey I’m (your name) we have the same English class” and then basically make small talk about whatever. I’m shy but pretty easy to approach if you’re nice (but also very intuitive so I’m good at spotting liars and fakes). But that’s just me. Don’t be creepy and don’t hit on her too blatantly (unless it’s that kinda party and even then don’t be a creep) and you’ll be fine.
