I'm a man who is under six feet tall, doesn't spend 20 hours a week in the gym, and not a millionaire. Of course I gave up on dating!

Women who are 4s in looks and 2s in personality are out here demanding 10s because social media and OF have inflated their egos to the size of Betelgeuse. And we're all supposed to just put up with their sh*tty behavior?

I'm probably one of the most romantic men in the world, but I'm not a simp. Speaking of which, blame them and the thots on OF and Tinder for ruining dating. Women hold ALL the power in the dating world, which means they hold most of the blame as well. It's not exactly men initiating hookup culture, since most men can't get laid without a lot of effort involved.

I did give up for some part of it.
Have been single my whole life.

I did try asking women out and such but always ended with no or more horrible kinds of rejections.
So I just don't get the energy anymore to do it.

I just try to live my life and better myself.
I might find my woman when I am 40.
But for now i feel like I don't have a chance at all.

To say I gave up would mean I have no interest and will not date. And that's not true. But I look at pool of women, their expectations, and where I'm at and I realize my likelihood of meeting a quality women who genuinely wants a future, something lasting is very slim. So I act accordingly.
I haven't quit. I'm just giving it the effort it deserves at this point. Basically just no expectations lol.

Haven't found the one yet. Dating can be expensive. Saving money is very important to me. I haven't given up, but spending a lot of money on women that keep disappointing me repeatedly doesn't make me want to keep making moves to date.
