Does anyone else get weird and awkward when someone else likes you?

It’s always unreal and unnatural sometimes when someone else likes me. Especially because I’m not that girl I don’t wear a lot of make a fake lashes average day is best ugly but not bombshell either.

For me it creates a huge distraction to my thought patterns. I start hyper-focusing on what I know of that one person. I put too much time and energy trying to figure out what they are thinking. I daydream about the next special moments. Its hard to be myself at first until I get to know them better. The beginning stages for me might be trying to figure out their motives and pick up on if the conversation is a serious or funny matter.

I can get weird and awkward and I think it comes from not expecting someone to do so. It comes from having a intimidating and intense presence at times and looking like Grigori Rasputin long lost cousin or half brother. Also I very much tend to stick to myself and have several projects going on at any given time. So I can be a hard person to get to know.

Apparently women like me more than I realize because I have been told by a few that they liked me for a while and I had no fucking idea 🤷‍♂️

It's weird because from my perspective people treat me like I am invisible.

Meaning she just gives a small compliment or a smile or just says Hi and casually chats for a bit and that's it. Never says anything about love or dating.
