Hey everyone, recently for 2 months I have been talking to a guy. He is sweet passionate, protective, respect and honest. He seems to genuinely be a good guy. He has good values seems to respect women and have the same/ similar goals as me. Basically checkoff all the boxes for my dream guy. However once he told me he’s in a gang and his lifestyle at the moment he says he’s willing to change. He says he was raised in a bad neighbourhood and this is what caused him to be the way he is. He says by the time we start dating he will try and get a better place to possible raise a family. However I don't know how to feel. Feel free to comment and share advice on this background. For reference he took over the family business and he seems a genuine guy. For reference he’s 21 and I’m 19 im in collage studying business

He can say all that but it's his actions that will prove it. It's good to get to really know him before anything else and by that I mean don't sleep with him too soon that way as time goes by you can see if he is really going to be there for you and you can also see the type of guy he is the more you get to now him. There is nothing wrong with getting to know him as a friend first as this will help you determine if this is a guy worth dating
