I started to feel emotional romance with this girl. We’re both girls but only 2 years apart. She’s older. Every time I talk with a colleague I catch her looking at me and once she asked what we were talking about. She talks and says she “loves” other coworkers but treats me different.
She would check up on me a lot especially when I was not interacting with her one day. I’m dating a guy (I’m bi ) and she has not expressed any interest in knowing about him. Another girl also has a boyfriend and she’s asked about their relationship. She’s told on me for talking to him on the phone. I’ve seen her on her phone plenty of times. That’s where our only problem comes from but this is a work place.
It’s been months since our second meeting. There was a period where we weren’t talking due to getting me in trouble. However, recently she’s begun to joke with me again and touch me more. She still asks how I’m doing.
once before she has stuttered but she’s a very confident person. we stayed late to close with two other people. Her and I talked along with them and our conversation felt very comfortable and natural and just flowed out. It didn’t feel romantic then. I went home happy we talked but when I woke up I started to feel romantic attraction. A customer complained about me to her and said I rushed them when I was so nice! She confronted me and told me she didn’t want me to feel uncomfortable and implied that she cared about me. Later she asked me how I felt about our conversation. Another manager has a nickname for me and my crush said that (me) would punch her if she called me that. Other day we made eye contact and it was soo intense. She looked away and blushed and it felt so weird. I found out that she’s getting transferred to another job. I saw her today. I told her congrats and later she gave me some boxes and said “I’m giving you presents because I care about you” which I think she just wanted to slide that in lol. but I’m too shy to do anything what do I do?
