Single mom if you're not with the dad. My friends been dating a single mom for like 5 years... he's still dating a single mom. When he gets married he has married a single mom. Its about if the two parents of the child are together or not.

I would say at the point of cohabitation, when it comes to the socialization of the child. But legally obviously until she's married again.
