So, I used to live in this small town (moved 40 miles away) like everyone knows everyone and most people are cousins. If you wanted to get some information head over to the gas station or the store. Anyways, I'm friends with this one guy, (he has a girlfriend) and after I added him on snapchat, other people from the school added me too, and so I was talking to this one other dude, call him L, who has a friend, I'll call him J, on his baseball team who added me on Snapchat as well.
L and I are good friends, I have good conversations with him, and we make fun of each other, and I trust him. J recently added me, and I ask him a couple questions, you know, and I get a few words back, nothing major.
Their baseball team had a game and after it was done, they all started talking about who their dating and whatnot, so J texted me asking if we were talking yet, I said, "I don't know are we?" He said if you want, and I said "sure, if it makes you happy then sure" and I got inside sources from L who told me that J was very happy that we were dating now, I argued that talking is different than dating and L said not really, so there I was dating someone I hadn't met in person yet. I talked to J a little bit more after that, nothing major.
Few days pass, nothing much, J barely talks to me even though he said he liked me. I even told him something cool that happened to me and he left me on read. I then was talking to L, and he said I should probably be texting J more than I am texting him. I told him that I tried and he left me on read or on delivered for 5 hours at a time (not exaggerating) L said I should pester him, don't stop texting him for a few minutes, so I did, and J LEFT ME ON READ FOR ALL OF IT. I then said to J "Sorry, but why aren't you replying?" and "Am I that annoying?" and he left me on read AGAIN.
Does J really like me and am I being too much? I know I ask too many questions sometimes, but still... Thank you!!
