Yes but only if there's really no other option and only until she stops attacking you or the person you're protecting.
I've been a bouncer and I hated it when chicks got crazy because I'd have to wrestle em down and zip tie them and always file a police report with whiteness statements validating my actions. Pain in my ass.
Former bouncer here as well. Would rather break up altercations between men any day over women. Never witnessed more blatant lies than when women do stupid shit, then wanna make believe it either never happened, offer a completely alternate story that only exists in their heads, insist it isn't their fault or shift the blame to others outright, despite the fact that four witnesses are telling the same story that's completely different from hers and video footage from either witnesses' cellphones or surveillance cameras, which just about all clubs/bars have to some extent.
I've been an advocate for more bars (well, larger ones anyway, or popular clubs) to employ female bouncers just for those occasions. Seen a few, but not many.
Depends. If a means of escape is available then I would not hit her. Even when ALL evidence points to the guy being in the right he will still be crucified socially. I can heal from a few cuts and bruises but my reputation matters more to me. Then again I have training to be able to stop someone hitting me without having to strike back.
If she's attacking you then you can hit her back out of self defense. I mean if she's beating the crap out of you. However, if she slaps you then don't knock her out.
You should actually never hit someone else, unless you're in a real dangerous situation where violence is necessary. She shouldn't have hit him in the first place, but still that doesn't justify hitting someone back
You're armost always better off, both morally AND legally, trying to get away instead of trying to flatten someone, but if it comes to blows, then gender doesn't enter into it. Neither the cops nor the jury will see it that way, but it's true.
Video footage of any kind has become the best friend of men. Know that all major stores have surveillance, as do a lot of smaller ones, and bars and government buildings 90% of the time have surveillance. Even a lot of parking lots are watched nowadays due to insurance stipulations/reasons.
Sure, nothing's 100%. Don't remember who was involved, but I remember the video. I'm also unaware of the final outcome of the altercation. Can you give me a quick synopsis of it? Or just give me the name of the player and I'll look it up myself.
@Screamsgutter I've been trying to remember his name singe I posted that, and it's driving me nuts. Let me try to recall something else, and see if that helps.
Yes but don't use excessive force. All you have to do is barely put your hands on her and she'll stop. Women aren't stupid, they don't want to fight a man, they will stop the second they know that you aren't just going to stand there and take it.
Other: That looked over the top, but first glance. don't know what was going on. dont' think need to deck her, he's bigger than her. Id say same if was male/male. try to rachet it down.
DEPENDS! If it is self defense and you're just trying to defend yourself then yes. But if you are just retaliating you are risking getting yourself into trouble
Although I don't think it's right, she should get the same charges as the guy. A woman should not be allowed to slap a man and get away with it. Self defense is right. Do what you have to do to protect yourself from the attacker.
You can hit in similar level of force to her. Like if she slaps you, it's fine to slap back. If she's coming at you with a knife it's fine to knock her out.
I know a lot of people including women will give me crap about this but the answer is no. Unless she has a gun or some other weapon and your life is in peril there is no excuse for hitting a woman.
Yes. It is okay to hit her back as hard as you can. It doesn't matter if she is 120 pounds and I am 260, if she hits me then it is fine to hit her back full force.
That depends on the "hit". If she slaps you because you're being fresh, or stupidly inappropriate, then you take it. If she hits you with a baseball bat, or a cast iron skillet, then you defend yourself.
Obviously. The question is do you want to? Personally I don't wanna get in fights anymore—don't want the medical or legal risks—regardless of their gender.
I would advise just walk away. Don't stick up on crazies. Then again, if you are backed up, or is in any sort of danger, feel free to act out of self defense. Emphasis on self-defense.

Yes for shows we did actually get some female security staff in for just this reason.

@Screamsgutter That didn't help that NFL guy whose woman attacked him in an elevator a few pears back.

If a woman EVER hit my husband I would absolute expect him to just knock the shit out of her and I would welcome the chance to bail him out of jail.

Man or woman, don't hit people (unless it's obviously self defense).
In this guy's case, I'd gtfot. Stay away from this traitorous bitch.

So if she hits me with full force , can i use full force back?
I mean, if we're using "similar level" force.
I know a lot of people including women will give me crap about this but the answer is no. Unless she has a gun or some other weapon and your life is in peril there is no excuse for hitting a woman.

I’m of the opinion that no one is above getting hit.
and if someone hits you defend yourself accordingly.
Obviously. The question is do you want to? Personally I don't wanna get in fights anymore—don't want the medical or legal risks—regardless of their gender.
Only if you are in danger of injury from further assault. Even then you are obligated to use the minimum force necessary.
Not if you have any self respect. It’s your own head you sleep with at night. Same as her if she started it.
I would advise just walk away. Don't stick up on crazies.
