So I found out I have hsv-1. I haven't gotten tested but im assuming you don't rlly get cold sores unless you have herpes. Ik it's common but I've been crying about it all day bc I feel like it's gonna ruin any potential relationships I might have. I hate this! Is anyone even gonna wanna kiss me now?

It's not for me, because I inherited hsv-1 from a parent.
Unfortunately, most people aren't aware that herpes is transmissible via virtually any physical contact with an infected person, including by congenital and entirely non-sexual means.
The best you can do is educate others about the nature of the disease, and pray that the other person isn't a judgmental retard.

Both me and my girlfriend both have hsv-1 and we still are able to have a relationship and thats on top of a 5 year age gap.
