I went on quite a few dates with this very nice man. He is put together and makes me smile. However his ex is pregnant. Should I stay with him?

Him and his ex fiancee broke up a month ago. She is 4 months pregnant with his child. I only started seeing him for the past 2 weeks. She was living with him but they got into it and he put a restraining order on her. He seems to talk about her or his mind is always elsewhere while we are hanging out. I can see he makes effort to take his kind off of her.

He removed her photos from his IG Page and he did love her but those comments are removed and he blocked her from a heated bad argument that turned into DV between the two of them. He slightly pushed her and regrets it because she’s pregnant. Now he’s with me and we hang out a lot. He has no drama because she’s out of his life now. Should I continue to date him? Has he moved on from her?

He’s also been acting like the break up is bothering him. He’s reading love after a break up and healing.

:( but he seems so happy with me and seemed great about breaking up with her. Now all of the sudden he’s posting quotes about love , healing and narcissism.

Is he not focusing on me anymore? I saw him for Memorial Day and we had a blast !

I would leave him alone. You are involving yourself in tons of drama by being involved with a man that just got out of a relationship and is expecting a child with this woman. They have a lot to work out and essentially learn how to co parent. Just seems like a situation someone would want to involve themselves in if they love drama

And side note: they are going to have a kid together, there’s no such thing as her being out of his life completely. If you are allowing him to not be an active father to this future child, you are creating/allowing drama

I figure he is healing from her and can continue to be with me. I’m willing to take on their new baby if the new lady meets me.
