The first sentence Is fine, you’re apologizing. But then in that second sentence, rather than offer any advice or try to see if that person needs any thing (is there anything I can do?), you just immediately end the conversation and try to push for a new topic.


It’s dismissive. Not rude per say, since some people have never been taught or faced with certain situations, so they struggle to understand how to react, but certainly a sign that someone does not care enough to search further or offer aid.

I won’t know about that, either way I decided to tell her about it because we were working together a session that day and I wasn’t interacting much due to this issue on my mind.
I just didn’t want her to feel that I was ignoring her whatsoever.
