Girls, Girl took a little more than a day to respond to me, how long should I wait to respond back?

I sent a girl a text yesterday. I didn't ask her any question in the text, it was a "hey, hope you have a great week" type of text. She only just got back to me over a day later, asking me how my weekend was.

Should I respond tonight or wait until tomorrow?

Holy shit you sound toxic. Even if she took a week to respond, it doesn't mean she's conceited or thinks you're not worth her time. She lives her own life with her own schedule, she's not obligated to respond to you within a specific time frame nor at all.

Still she did respond, a very positive response at that showing genuine interest in you. I feel bad for her to hear you thinking about being petty on purpose, such a sad way to act.

I understood it like you felt that she didn't reply to your message fast enough so you felt like doing the same to her by intentionally replying to her message later rather than sooner.

If that's not the case then I think just reply whenever is convenient for you as there really isn't any proper etiquette to messages unlike phone calls which are "forceful" in a way. A message can be read at any time and isn't forceful but if someone calls you, you typically have to answer it immediately.

That sounds annoying but don't be immature. She could have been in some sorta emergency? Her phone could of ran flat and she didn't have a charger? I don't know sorry lol.
