If a girl takes several hours to respond back?

So this girl I've been texting usually takes 5 hours to reply back. There was this one time where she responded right away (like in seconds) but other than that she usually takes 5 hours. Usually it is a sentence long so that's good sign. She has always texted me back too.
I've always been told that girls are literally on their phones all the time and if she likes you then she will respond quickly.

Ok so to me personally if a girl takes a bit long to text back it's bc she likes the guy. She doesn't want to come on real strong. Like in my opinion it feels like if we text back fast we're gonna scare away the dude. Ya it sounds real weird but that's just how girls work (in my opinion) Another thing is, if she texts back fast but then sometimes texts back slow, there's the obvious reasons if she might be busy/occupied, or like her parents monitor her phone

I mean there are many factors why she doesn't reply quickly, either she's busy doing other stuff which I doubt cause girls are usually on their phones... or maybe she's just not that interested in you?
