Do you think firsts are overrated? It may be your first love, first kiss, first boyfriend/girlfriend, losing your virginity. People seem to give their firsts a lot of importance but is it necessary?

Well I turned down a lot of sex early on in college because I was holding out for someone who was at least somewhat special to me. Mainly because I didn't want my first time to be with a lady who was doing someone else a week later. I'd seen it happen to others. However, beyond that, I do think that "firsts" can be overrated.

I had to wait until 30 before I lost my (virginity) to a prostitute and 36 until I had my first BJ (again, with a prostitute), so I don't think it's overrated

I do think they’re somewhat important but only for the reason of it being your first time so you can’t help but to remember when it first happened. But for me personally, my first boyfriend, my first kiss, and first sex experience all sucked lol

My husband and I were all of those things for eachother, and I definitely wouldn't have wanted it any other way. It's a very warm feeling, knowing that I am all he has ever known.
